Royal Commission aerial reconnaissance on 11th July 2018, during the 2018 drought, recorded cropmarks of a linear ditch c.80m long, aligned NW/SE, in fields to the south-west of Portheiddy village. It appears to have a fragmentary corner at the NW end, suggesting it was once part of an enclosure. The date and character of the ditch are uncertain. Image refs: AP_2018_4493-94 & 97-99.
