Line of supposed west coast Roman road proposed by an independent researcher, based on strands of evidence including the straight section of road here running north-east to the Pantgwyn estate (NPRN 35016).

Exploratory aerial reconnaissance by the Royal Commission on 11th July 2018, during the 2018 drought, specifically looked for cropmark evidence at the SW end of this road in the vicinity of Teg-fan (SN 228 450) and the north-east end in open fields beyond Pantgwyn house, where the straight road deviated from its course. However no cropmarks of any road lines were seen continuing the line of the road into open fields, despite excellent conditions for cropmark formation. It appears more likely that the straight section of road here is a product of post-medieval landscape planning.
