Royal Commission aerial reconnaissance during the 2018 drought revealed the broad buried agger (stone causeway) of the Roman road as it passes through present-day Llanybydder. Aerial photography on 9th July 2018 recorded the agger as a clar yellow parchmark under fields running south-west from a position near Aberduar Welsh Baptist Church, towards the playground and fields below Tanygaer.
