Cropmarks recorded during Royal Commission aerial reconnaissance in the 2018 drought, on 9th July 2018, show feint traces of the corner of a univallate rectangular enclosure, of which approximately 170m of ditch is visible for the north side. This may be the indistinct remains of a Roman marching camp, but the cropmarks are not clear enough to be fully confirmed. Image refs: AP_2018_3343-44.
