Royal Commission aerial reconnaissance on 9th July 2018, during the 2018 drought, discovered parchmarks of a small circular structure c.10m diameter to the NE of Daverneithen farm. The parchmarks suggest a buried stony circular footing. Givem the proximity of Y Gaer Roman fort or camp (NPRN 305839) some 450m to the south, there is the possibility that this is a rare Roman tomb. A similar Roman tomb can be seen to the south of Cefn Caer Roman fort, Pennal (NPRN 300159).
