Line of approximately 10 former quarry pits dug alongside the line of the Roman road, now fossilised by the modern country lane, dug by Roman soldiers to provide surfacing for the road. The quarry pits were documented as cropmarks during RCAHMW aerial reconnaissance on 9th July 2018 (AP_2018_3259-62), during the 2018 drought. It is clear that a gravel bluff on the Teifi valley was dug in several places for material.
