One of a group of pillow mounds described in the Glamorgan Inventory but not shown on the OS 1:2500 map (1960s).
Pillow mound 18 measures 19m (NE-SW) by 5.5m overall with a height of 0.6m and is flanked by shallow ditches. The site is on unimproved land, outside the boundary which now encloses its neighbours, and is overgrown with bracken.
