An early nineteenth century picturesque gate lodge at entrance to grounds of Gelli mansion (NPRN 86787). The lodge fell into dereliction in the twentieth century and has since been restored. A circular building, originally with clom wall and a conical thatched roof. Through this thrust the central octagonal chimney stack.
The chimney is echoed in the octagonal gatepiers from which are hung iron gates.
