The Scheduled area falls into two parts, either side of the minor road to the NW through the village.

The entire area, according to the farmer (Malthouse Farm), has been excavated over the last 15 years. The field to the S of the road contains two platform-like features, the sites of excavated buildings. The field N of the road is now featureless, though the outline of part of the excavated area is visible where water has accumulated after heavy rainfall.
