DisgrifiadUnivallate enclosure. Terrace of NE facing Slope.
Poss.orig.rounded D shape to 0.15m (NW) Deep.
Bank 3-6m wide on NW NE & SE.
This subrectangular enclosure is roughly bisected by a fence either side of which are fields under pasture. The enclosure measures overall some 60m across. It is best defined on the N, less so on the S though here some external ditching is evident possibly accentuated by tracking. The SE corner has been ploughed out. The N side of the enclosure is fronted by a scarp running roughly parallel with the bank. This is probably natural but may have been part of any defensive function which the enclosure might have had.
