DisgrifiadThis fish trap is visible on historic aerial photographic coverage (1966) and probably originally comprised lines of wooden posts with nets attached (the arms of earlier traps consist of low stone walls set with roundwood posts supporting wattle fences, but these were superseded by stake nets at the end of the 19th century). Its visible remains comprise a palimpsest of zig-zags, all following a similar alignment, presumably representing different phases of use. This palimpsest measures some 530m in total length. It overlies NPRN 506619 (visible on an historic Admiralty chart).
