Ruin of a smallholding shown on 1879 OS map. Cil-haul is shown on the 1838 Llangynhafal Tithe survey but with the buildings further W.

Remains of a small rectangular building, internal dimensions 7 x 3m. The W wall consists of a bank 1.5m wide and 0.7m high, with gap in the centre, either the entrance or a break for a sheep track. The N wall is formed by part of field boundary (NPRN 500410); the S side appears to be dug into a natural bank; the E side is indistinct.
