DisgrifiadThe tubular bridge at Conwy was built in between 1846 and 1848 by Robert Stephenson to carry the Chester and Holyhead Railway across the River Conwy. It has a single span carrying a double track and has large stone battlemented towers to harmonise with the adjacent Conwy Castle (NPRN 121).
