DisgrifiadRoyal Commission aerial reconnaissance during the 2018 drought recorded a section of the agger of the Roman road at this location, showing as a clear parchmark for 2-300m. In the adjacent field to the north-west is a cluster of 15-20 pits measuring up to 5m across. Normally roadside pitting to supply material for surfacing the road would lie alongside the road; however these pits extend in a general line away from the road, and may represent some other form of roadside activity.
