DisgrifiadRoyal Commission aerial reconnaissance during the July 2018 drought (including on 9th July 2018) revealed cropmarks of one straight bank or ditch, and one bank or ditch with a neatly rounded corner, sited on the eastern side of a projecting spur on which stands Glynrhiced-fach farm. The appearance of the double 'defences' on one side of the spur, only some 500m NW of the Roman road RR69d, and in a position commanding views to the north, suggests the possible site of a Roman fort around 230m across. However, there are no other parchmarks or structures visible on the western side of this spur to confirm this.
