Clwyd Powys Archaeological Trust describe this as a possible hafod measuring 9.7m by 5m. It is a 'much ruined rectangular structure with considerable amounts of stone in interior. Walls appear as a jumble of surface boulders with occasional stones on edge for facing purposes, and some natural boulders integrated into build. Front (N) end is well-defined though still collapsed; others walls in poorer condition. There may be an entrance in middle of E side - it is the only possible location.' The structure is 'set below rocky outcrop which affords some shelter. On gently sloping ground towards end of natural shelf.' There are 'good views to west and north west.'
Paul Davis, when visiting the site in January 2019, noted that there was another long-hut, similar to this structure but slightly smaller in size, located approximately 50m to the north.
