Royal Commission aerial reconnaissance during the 2018 drought, on 29th June 2018, discovered a square ditched enclosure with sharp-angled corners sited on a hillslope with land falling to the south towards the River Usk. The enclosure has a broad ditch and measures approx. 60m across. It is uncertain whether the enclosure is prehistoric, Roman or medieval in date.
