Llanfair is a 18th and earlier 19th century house owned by the Thomas family from the late 18th century to c1890.

The oldest part is probably the range dated 1796 with some large oak cross-beams to the ground floor and a large cambered timber-lintel to the fireplace, suggesting that 1796 date represents date of alteration not construction. The front range has interior detail of mid 19th century including stick baluster stair, plaster cornices and panelled shutters. There is a c1870 library with panelled ceiling and notched surrounds to the windows and doors. The servants' stair is interestingly doubled with a private stair from the library to a small upstairs room once used as chapel.

There are two wrought iron gates withscrolled ironwork and matching but eroded ironwork on two sides of the front forecourt to the house.
