Coal workings, to the south of Wern-Tarw house (NPRN: 28001), with earthworks of tramway and associated workings and pits, extending to the west and east of the tramway. The tramway is denoted on the 3rd edition Ordnance Survey County Series mapping of Glamorgan (sheet XXXV 10, 1919), running south to join with the Cardiff and Ogmore railway (now dismantled).
