The sheep fold is denoted on the Ordnance Survey County Series 1st edition 1889 map (Caernarvonshire XXI 8 sheet). It comprises of 3 roughly circular cells, within a larger enclosure. The fold is situated by a trackway, on the lower, western slopes of Snowdon, close to the Afon Treweunydd, just below the Glanarfon Quarry (NPRN: 305780).
