DisgrifiadA burnt mound in the shape of a horse-shoe is located on the south-west bank of a narrow, unmarked stream, a tributary of Nant Tawe Fechan. It lies close to the foot of the escarpment of Fan Hir which rises steeply to the west.
Overall the mound measures 12m (NE-SW) by 11.2m with a height of 0.75m. The `horse-shoe? opens out onto the stream to the north-east which is marked by a line of rushes. The mound is composed of small stones and is overgrown with coarse grasses. It appears to be intact.
