DisgrifiadA relatively small earthwork enclosure can be recognised on the aerial coverage of the Roman marching camp(s) (NPRN 305037) and some traces are apparent on the ground.
The enclosure, defined by a bank, is rectangular with rouded corners. It is about 55m north-south by 35m. It is best preserved on the north, where it is sheltered by a field boundary.
There are a range of ostensibly similar enclosures in the immediate area (NPRN 308498-9). It is possible that this is a later prehistoric or Roman work, although a later date is equally possible.
