One of four barrows laid out along the summit of an east-west ridge (see also Nprn304221; 402794-5), a generally circular mound, about 22m in diameter & 0.4m high: excavation, in 1926, produced evidence for a primary, uncontained cremation deposit & a secondary, in-urned cremation.
