DisgrifiadThis possible chapel site is located at Llanfair Farm, on a low terrace above the flood plain of the River Teifi. Recent geophysical survey and trenching indicate that a substancial building, within an earthwork enclosure, stood on the site. It has been suggested that the existing earthwork enclosure made use of an earlier, prehistoric enclosure (NPRN 402861). The current earthwork measures some 60m across, and is defined by a bank and ditch with a west-facing entrance (indicative of a church site). Possible fragments of the supposed chapel are noted as having been put together in the nineteenth century to preserve its memory.
