DisgrifiadSeveral features remain around lock no 8, Resolven Lock. They include the site of a riverside dock; the stump of a timber trestle tramroad bridge built over the River Neath in l840-43; and a lengthsman's house (SN 8300 0236). To the south of the road into Resolven is a cast-iron aqueduct, identical in design to that at Aberpergwm (87) (NPRN 34448), which carries a stream over the canal. The next lock down, no 7, Farmer's Lock (SN 8245 0300) has a tail-lock bridge.
