A large ruined building of slate stone rubble. The facade and quoins are of long dressed coursed blocks in lime mortar. The chimney and the other walls are of rougher masonry.
In 1904 there was a waterwheel 12' diameter by 1' face to drive the bellows by bevel gearing.
