DisgrifiadPossible deserted Medieval settlement or village near Cefnllys Castle. Aerial photography shows traces of possible houses and fields.
A borough, associated with Cefnllys castle (Nprn96530), was first mentioned in 1304, with 25 burgesses, with a mill (see Nprn40280) and mention of a ridge toll (see Nprn170538), although probably extant 1297. The borough may have decayed through the 14th century.

Features noted around St Michael's church (Nprn308820) may represent the borough, although these are overlain by relict field boundaries and cultivation marks (Nprn307121).
