DisgrifiadRoyal Commission aerial reconnaissance in 2002 identified a concentric circular enclosure, 22m in overall diameter and in the form of a cropmark, on the village green in Llandarcy (nprn 408156) within the twentieth century housing development there. An Aerofilms photograph from 1923 (AFL03, Aerofilms 8604) of the village shows a flat, circular structure and a photograph of Llandarcy Village, dating from the early 1920s and held in Skewen Photo Archive, shows children dancing round the maypole, which is set in the centre of a raised wooden platform about 22m in diameter.
