Cofnod Safle

A substantial, cross contour, earthwork platform cut into the base of an east-facing slope at the top of Blaen Cwm Banw. The platform measured 13.7m east northeast- west southwest by 7.3m. The fan and apron were both very pronounced. The fan was 1.5m deep and pulled round both sides to halfway down the platform. The height of the apron was up to 1.5m. Vegetation cover in June 2008 was bracken and grass.
