Medieval settlement of Ardda mentioned in 15th C manuscript. Consists of remains of dwellings, enclosures, field systems and cultivation ridges. Town remains cut through by post medieval leats, pipe-lines, tramways and quarrying activity. (JONES.RS/CAP/2003)
