Disgrifiad1. The long hut on Ffridd Camen is a rectangular structure set on the upper, north-eastern, edge of a field system (NPRN 308645).
An apparently similar structure lies approximately 200m to the north-east (NPRN 275807), possibly beyond the extent of the system, so that the structure and field system may not be directly associated.

2. After visiting the site in January 2019, Paul Davis noted that 'there is a rounded enclosure or pen formed from large boulders, enclosing the upper end of the house. It is one of three well-marked long-huts in the vicinity, all aligned downhill and set at the foot of natural outcrops that appear to have functioned as the `hoods? normally encountered at platform house sites.'
