DisgrifiadMelin Dolhaiarn is a stone-built water-powered corn mill, possibly dating from the eighteenth century. It had a major overhaul around 1920 and was in use until about 1950. The building is L-shaped, built of rubble masonry with brick cambered arches above the openings, under a modern slate roof. A breast shot waterwheel 4.93m in diameter by 1.81m wide drove four pairs of stones and other machinery, all of which is complete, although the mill was in process of conversion to dwelling in 1978.
