Well preserved extant earthworks of medieval strip fields have been recorded to the south of Llanblethian village, now preserved in open pasture. The earthworks of the former strips survive as lynchets, all exhibiting the slight 'S-curve' formed as the plough teams turn at the headland banks at each end of the strip.
