DisgrifiadThe Carpenters Arms is a stone building which has had been much altered over its c. 300 year old history. It is thought the original building was a 2 roomed thatched cottage with a loft, which was subsequently extended; features include a stone winding stair with oak treads. Renamed The Whitehall Country Club, c. 1960's; the building is now known as The Highwayman.
