DisgrifiadA picturesque early 19th Century lodge house, designed by William Maddocks. It guards the eastern drive to Tan-yr-Allt house (NPRN 16896) and is part of an extensive landscape composition (NPRN 301636).
The one and a half storey lodge has walls of regularly coursed roughly squared blocks and a deep slate gabled roof. It presents a gabled three bay front to the visitor. The advanced central bay has a broad window on both floors, both under slate labels. On one side is a simple doorway, on the other a gothic window. The gable eaves have ornamental bargeboards. A central chimney stack rises above it all. There is a low single storey range attached to the rear.
