Traces of former village in vicinity of church.
The former extent of the now shrunken village survives between the church and Ty Mawr, in the 18th C the only remaining house, to the E. Croft enclosures, mounds containing stone and lime mortar (probable house sites) and a slightly hollowed terraced trackway have been recorded; features average 0.5m high. Features planned for the Glamorgan Inventory 1977.
