Part of NPRN 40590. The waste tips, at three levels, contain waste carried along tramways from the adits at Levels C (highest), B and A. Level C produced the majority of this waste, in three fan-shaped tips. Level B had just one tipping position, and Level A, a trial which never reached workable slate, has only a small tip.
