DisgrifiadPart of NPRN 40590. The weigh house stands on Level C and served a tramway leading south to waste tips. It is a substantially complete but unroofed small building, built from unsawn slate waste, measuring 4.5 by 3.6 metres on plan and 2.6 metres high at the crest of the single-pitched roof slope. The rectangular pit, 1.8 by 1.5 metres, which housed the weighbridge, is on the east side, overlooked by the single window which reached up to the wallplate. The doorway is in the north side, and the south wall had a fireplace and low chimney.
